This will go down as my all time favorite piece that I painted as Annie Sloan’s Painter in Residence, 2021. An exclusive design, inspired by my travels to Japan. I recreated the mystical Geisha on this tall boy. A textured neutral base is perfect for the bright hues of the Geisha’s kimono. The dance pose, with the fan as an accessory, makes this a one of a kind piece. I’ve placed the knob for the top drawer to mimic a hair ornament.
