Frequently Asked Questions

The quote will depend on the kind of furniture, its condition, the size/dimensions (H W D) as well as the kind of makeover you’re looking for. For example, artwork, some effects, etc.

To start with, please send a photo of the piece along with the dimensions of the piece/pieces (H W D). Any reference pictures or a brief for me of what you have in mind for it will help too. I’m happy to suggest ideas depending on your decor.

The time frame would depend on the kind of furniture and the final look. For a flat single colour to basic effects, it typically takes approximately 5-7 working days. For a piece that has artwork, the time frame will depend on how intricate the artwork is.

I paint all kinds of furniture: different types of wood, MDF, laminate, IKEA furniture, glass, metal, plastic, outdoor furniture, children’s furniture.

All pieces of furniture are sealed with at least 2-3 coats of sealant for durability. I use either clear wax or lacquer (gloss or matt) depending on preference or look required

Please refer to the “care instructions” tab.

The item/items must be delivered to me and collected as I work from my studio. The quote does not include the transportation.
Pick up and delivery can be arranged at an extra cost which will depend on the size of the furniture and the location.
You may use your own moving company. If there are any damages/ scratches in the move when the piece/pieces are brought to me and taken back, JustRestore or I will not be responsible. Any touch ups, if possible, thereafter will be done at an extra cost.

I work off a 50% advance payment which can be made in cash or via bank transfer. The balance is to be made before collection.
In case of a bank transfer, please ensure the payment is wired a few days prior to delivery to ensure there are no processing delays.

I use chalk paint only for all my projects. This paint does not have any odor, is VOC free and is non toxic. It is water based. It is safe and can be used for nursery makeovers too.

I only hand paint all the pieces/pieces and therefore, a factory finish cannot be achieved. This ensures that each piece is unique.
