Product Care Instructions

All painted pieces are sealed in either clear wax or lacquer for durability.
The choice of sealer depends on the final look, client preference and how frequently the piece will be used.

It takes approximately 4-6 weeks for the wax to cure and harden (depending on weather conditions)
Until then, light use is recommended.
The wax, once cured, makes the piece water proof and scratch proof.
A soft lint free cloth must be used to wipe off the dust.
A quick tip is to use a light colour cloth for a light coloured piece and a dark cloth for a dark coloured piece.
After 4-6 weeks, a damp, soft, lint free cloth can be used to wipe the furniture.
Diluted, mild baby soap may be used to take off stains.
Please DO NOT use harsh detergents, polishes or bleaches.
Please use coasters or place mats where appropriate as hot drinks and food as well as dark liquids, oils, etc may stain the finish.

It takes approximately 15-20 days for the lacquer to cure.
Until then, light use is recommended.
Once cured, the lacquer makes the piece waterproof and scratch proof.
After this period, a wet cloth can be used to wipe the furniture.
Mild, diluted baby soap may be used to wipe stains.
Please DO NOT use harsh detergents, polishes or bleaches.
Please use coasters or place mats where appropriate as hot drinks and food as well as dark liquids, oils, etc may stain the finish.

The lacquer used has a UV protectant.
Please try to keep the furniture indoors or covered if outside for the first 15-20 days while the lacquer cures.
It is recommended to keep the outdoor furniture covered during summer months to maintain the finish.
Can be cleaned as per above instructions.
